Does Disagreeing with the Government, Make One a Conspiracy Theorist?

If so, at least 75% of the United States Might Qualify as Dissenters

*****Interlude*****

Most of us – Americans in particular – are content to go about our lives without questioning or intervening in governmental decisions/affairs. But what if even those considered ‘mainstream’ (as opposed to ‘radicals’ of either the far left or far right persuasion) learned about a government ‘plot’ that would not only virtually destroy our families, but our country, and possibly our entire civilization, as well? Would we be content to wait it out and let someone else sort out the particulars, especially if those particulars affected our loved ones?

Like most, I love my family and friends and want equality for ALL. I suppose I could be clumped in with those that conservatives call ‘bleeding heart liberals.’ But I fail to understand why so many cling to such outmoded and potentially harmful ways of thinking at the expense – and often the lives – of a multitude of others. Whether it is insistence on one’s religious ‘right,’ or a bias for one’s race or nationality, ultimately someone is excluded from ‘the good life’ based on someone else’s belief regarding their sovereign ‘right’ to rule over others. Have we become so complacent and caught up in the ‘rat race’ that we are unable to see how our actions are affecting others? Or is it that we just don’t care and selfishly want what we want regardless of its effects on the rest of the planet?

After my last blog entry, and after reading various articles on the government’s intentions towards curtailing our freedom of speech, I was concerned that the government might believe that the Astrology of Conspiracy blog contributes to the proliferation of conspiracy theories, which is one of the reasons I’ve hesitated to publish anything of late. After all: I have loved ones to protect.

But what does that say about our government?

This country was formed with the idea that we would be free – that we would have the freedoms that our forefathers did not possess before establishing the United States of America. It was supposed to be predicated on the right to freedom of speech and the right to bear arms, amongst other things. Yet especially since the Bush Regime, it seems that our rights to both of these, if not other rights, are gradually being taken away. Is this truly a conspiracy theory? Is it just a figment of our imagination? Or is it actually happening?

From my point of view – as well as that of many others – it seems that the government is now punishing anyone who disagrees with their policies.

Some of the conspiracy theories I’ve researched seem absolutely ludicrous, virtually inane and unprovable, while others are difficult to ignore. But what I’ve noticed is that it’s those that seem to have some legitimacy and/or provability that the debunkers attack with a vengeance.

Because there are many individuals who are generally afraid of authority, most debunkers merely parrot what they’ve heard others declaim regarding any given conspiracy theory; while not having any hard evidence to back up their declamations, other than that so and so said so (it doesn’t seem to occur to them that so and so doesn’t have any hard facts, either). Instead, they resort to belittling, defamation and slander in order to ‘prove’ that those who believe specific ‘plots’ exist are ‘nuts,’ ‘crackpots’ and worse. And of course we can’t discount the possibility that there are governmental (i.e. CIA, NSA, etc.) shills who may likely plant some of these ‘wacko’ theories to begin with, and are the lead debunkers in those that may very well be true.

It seems that if the government was truly innocent of the various conspiracy theories for which it is blamed, our right to freedom of speech would not be taken away, while an investigation into where the conspiracy theories are originating would be overtly launched. Instead, most of the conspiracy theories are swept under the governmental rug, while those who attempt to alert others to what is actually taking place are vilified and/or eliminated. Soon, if the government has its way, anyone who disagrees with governmental policies will be prosecuted and possibly eliminated merely for utilizing our rights to freedom of speech.

Some ‘Conspiracy Theories’ Are True

‘Conspiracies,’ such as the plot to assassinate Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy or Martin Luther King, Jr. have been accepted without question. Now. Although at the time they were suggested, those who believed that there was a conspiracy afoot were also laughed at, if not worse.

Generally, assassinations don’t touch most of our lives directly. Or so it appears. According to freelance journalist, Shawn E. Hamilton, reporting through the Sacramento Statehouse Examiner on the JFK assassination, roughly 75% of the US population believes there was a conspiracy and that certain elements of the government helped cover it up. While there is no argument that JFK was killed, or that we're also being asked to believe that there was a ‘limited’ conspiracy to assassinate him, governmental reporting agencies and panels such as the Warren Commission, continue to insist that – in spite of the government’s far reaching (even at that time) technological tentacles – Oswald had to have carried out his heinous mission either alone or with the assistance of only one other individual.

But were they wrong? Or were they misleading us?

It seems that once some ‘conspiracy theory’ is proved to be true by relentless investigators who won’t settle for the pat explanations with which we’re often patronized, then the government backtracks, essentially saying: “Oops, oh yeah, we made a mistake. There WAS a conspiracy to do thus and such. But it really didn’t involve the government. It was a lone wolf with the help of another lone wolf.”

They Come in Threes

Like many others who are interested in this area of study, my first foray into what later became known as the ‘conspiracy theory’ field, came with the assassination of President John Kennedy back in the early 60s. I’ve always been a sucker for unraveling a good mystery, so ‘conspiracy theories’ seemed to pique my investigative and analytical nature.

Over the years, what I learned as well, is that: 1) based on overwhelming evidence, many of the so-called ‘conspiracy theories’ seemed to be true (even if the government wasn’t admitting to their veracity); 2) the majority of the ‘conspiracy theories’ seem to involve some aspect of the New World Order, and 3) there seem to be three disparate types of individuals on both sides of the ‘conspiracy theory’ game board, as shown below.

I say ‘seem,’ because obviously - unless I were consciously involved in any of the so-called ‘conspiracies,’ I can’t know with 100% certainty. But then, isn’t that what they’re counting on? Along with the fact that so many of these theories are too unbelievable to be true, or that the majority of Americans just can’t conceive of the notion that their beloved government could possibly do anything so horrific.

Which brings me to another aspect of conspiracy theories: the various types of people who are either for or against the New World Order. Because, ultimately, that is what it boils down to: you either want it or you don’t.

Anti-New World Order

Ø Inactive Pacifists: those who don’t wish harm to come to anyone, but who will usually go along with whatever agenda seems to best serve the ‘peace at any cost’ purpose (as long as it’s truly peaceful), even if they don’t quite understand it. These individuals aren’t stupid; they just generally don’t bother to investigate or research what they’ve been told is true.

Ø Active Pacifists: those who are peaceful, but who also write about, lobby against and physically (but peacefully) protest aggression, war and/or anything involving the NWO. Cindy Sheehan falls into one aspect of this category.

Ø Constitutional Patriots*: those who are against the NWO, but are quite a bit more militant or radical in their opposition, mainly because they advocate the use of firearms. Alex Jones, former police officer Jack McLamb, state militias, oath keepers, et al, fall into this category.

*Although the government claims that Neo-Nazis and individuals such as Timothy McVeigh are in the last category, I would argue that they are not. Based on documented evidence, these individuals are generally products of MK Ultra and other covert NWO operations which are perpetrated in order to undermine the unity and cohesion of the opposition, or anyone who doesn’t agree with their agenda. These individuals actually belong to the Pro-NWO Drone category shown below.

Pro-New World Order

Conspiracy theory debunkers are notorious for their intimidation and belittling techniques. As noted in the first category, even those with good intentions insist that anyone who believes that any of these ‘conspiracies’ exist, are crazy. Like the ‘Drone’ category, these individuals generally mimic what they’ve heard about anyone who believes the NWO plots, yet rarely research any of the available documentation in order to back up their claims.

Ø Sheeple: The majority of the masses who are either in a trance and going about their daily lives as if nothing is amiss, and who refuse to see the reality of the government agenda or are too afraid to ‘buck the system.’ This category includes well-meaning individuals who believe that those they consider ‘conspiracy theorists,’ are misled, delusional or severely mentally imbalanced.

Ø Drones/Shills/Plants: Those who knowingly or unknowingly (i.e. Manchurian Candidates) actively assist with the furtherance of the NWO agenda, either through a verbal or written venue, or by actively and/or physically participating, as in agents of the various alphabet agencies who follow/uphold orders dispensed by the NWO elite. These would also include those who would be considered ‘plants’ or ‘shills,’ who, again either knowingly or unknowingly purposely create or contribute to malicious and/or misleading, as well as totally false information and/or harass those considered anti-NWO..

Ø Most Politicians/industrialists/authority figures/the Elite: The world’s most politically powerful and most wealthy individuals who wish to form a New World Order where what are left of the earth’s inhabitants after the planned population reduction through eugenics, will rule as a One World Government, with control over all.

Want more proof that the media, mega-corporations and at least some aspects of the government are in on what seem to be ‘conspiracy theories’? Check out this short video from former Fox News reporters Steven Wilson and Jane Akre, involving media suppression of BGH or bovine growth hormones in milk and the part that conglomerate, Monsanto, and the Food and Drug Administration played in preventing the airing of a broadcast news story involving its health hazards (such as cancer) to humans.

The Fear Factor

by Melody Scott Zindell
I was inspired to give my two cents worth into this subject that Kat has already written some beautiful thoughts on after viewing an excellent interview with Jim Marrs on Project Camelot. Not being naïve to what is going on allows us to make choices with autonomy and freedom, and to say, as Jim Marrs said, “Nah – I don’t think so” when they come at us saying they need more control of our lives in order to help keep us safe.

In astrology, the sign of Scorpio and its ruling planets Mars and Pluto correlate with the archetypes of fear, control and manipulation and evil. We exist in a plane of reality that is dominated by duality, and so the polarity of any archetype is considered with the analysis of astrological archetypes. For more on the duality of the horoscope see my article “Are We Trapped in Duality? Using the horoscope to integrate polarities.” In this case, the polarity of Scorpio is Taurus, which holds with its archetype the notions of security, value and worth (including one’s own), and self-sufficiency. The stronger we are in our sense of knowing what our values are and living by them without dependency on other people, their resources and ideas, the more security we ultimately gain and then the higher strengths of the Scorpio archetype can come into play: The transformation and growth into personal power which can then relate to others and their resources in a cooperative and non controlling-manner.

Remember, no one allows fear into your mind but you!

Astrological Markers in the Natal Chart of a Conspiracy Theorist: Are we Really Fear Mongers?

By
Kat Starwolf

Dear Readers: we haven’t forgotten you or the AOC blog. So many things have happened since our last entry, that it’s been difficult for either of us to focus on much of anything other than life.

However, a comment made by a friend recently, prompted me to respond via the blog regarding the issue of fear mongering, especially as that relates to conspiracy theories. Is that truly what we are doing by publishing this blog, I wondered? Are we actually fomenting fear?

After a news piece was forwarded to me by the above mentioned friend regarding an issue that will inevitably affect everyone on the planet, and I responded to this friend that it was time we all awakened to what is really going on and do something about it, my friend informed me that we ‘should imagine a good outcome, and not be afraid because that is what is attracting all the bad’ outcomes we tend to experience. While I agree with this to an extent (at least as far as fear attracting a negative outcome), I feel that something more is needed than merely ‘imagination’ to ensure that we, our children and our grandchildren have a safe, wholesome planet on which to live.

Another friend stated that I always see the best in everyone and in every situation, while she tended to see shadows, even in the Light. Although this statement seems to contradict the previous statement of me being a fear monger, I still wondered, was this true? Am I blinded to the true nature of humans? After quite a bit of deliberation, what I determined is that while it certainly might appear that way to some, the fact is, I’m very well aware of the extremes of human nature and that humans are more than capable of being both benevolent and malevolent. So while I do tend to favor the positive nature of humans, I am also cognizant of their darker side, as well. And this quality, in my opinion, allows me to look at both sides of an issue in order to determine its validity or lack thereof.

Along these same lines, I had a falling out with a dear friend a couple of years ago, mainly around the belief that ‘we create our own reality.’ I insisted that my experience was that all of us actually create the environments which cause either positive or negative situations to manifest. And because I also believe in reincarnation, this includes babies as well, since I believe that we write our own ‘script’ before we come into each incarnation; I still believe this. However, my ‘we create our own reality’ mentality is not based on some airy-fairy, baseless or dogmatic belief system. It’s based on the human psychological and emotional nature. I believe that whatever it is on which we focus our attention, generally manifests. As I stated on Amazon.com in my review of the book, The Law of Attraction,

[If] we desire something that to many would seem impossible, we think about having it, and if we think long and hard enough, eventually (if not sooner) we find a way of manifesting whatever it is we so strongly desire into existence. As the saying goes, a house begins as a fleeting thought, then becomes an idea, eventually makes its way to a blueprint, and ultimately finds expression in being `manifested' or constructed out of tangible, material substance. Yet, it began as a mere thought, a desire… If we choose negative thoughts, we will reap a negative outcome. If we are positive in our intent, we reap positive benefits.

In other words, in order to create our own reality, more is needed than just meditating on or imagining a positive outcome; it stands to reason that it is also necessary to take action if we wish to see our imagination – which eventually turns to continued constructive thought – also come to substantial fruition. Those of you who believe in the God of the Bible are undoubtedly familiar with the saying that God helps those who help themselves. Whatever it is that God/dess or the gods help us with, requires more than imagination; it often requires literal, physical work on our part.

I do not believe that sitting back and doing nothing other than ‘imagining’ a positive outcome, will elicit the outcome we desire. Whatever that might be. I, further, do not believe that we will ever effect the changes that Gandhi spoke of when he said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” without actually doing something tangible and constructive to effect that change. The fact is, the word ‘change’ implies taking action. We can not effect any change whatsoever unless we move. And moving means that it is necessary to actually do something. And, from what I’ve experienced and seen, movement requires doing something positive if we wish to have a positive affect on others.

Additionally, in my opinion, that means making an attempt to determine as much of the truth of what is really going on in the world, and when we feel that that goal has been accomplished, passing on the information which is uncovered to those who may benefit.

Still, I wondered, am I a Henny Penny? An alarmist who only wishes to create fear? I really don’t feel that way. But since I am the one who initiated this subject I thought a good way to determine whether or not this is true is to share the ‘blueprint’ of my astrological chart.

Astrological Markers in the Natal Chart and Conspiracy Theories

What does the astrological natal chart of a conspiracy theorist look like? Are there specific markers that are prevalent in the charts of those who ‘see shadows where there are none’? Are those who are attracted to or ‘spread’ conspiracy theories more prone to fantasy than others? In my opinion, if there is such a marker in the natal chart, it seems it would have to consist of specific planets such as the Moon, Neptune and Pluto in either or both the 8th or the 12th Houses.

While I can’t speak for Melody, I can speak for myself in this regard. So, yes, according to my own criteria, and based on my own astrological natal chart, I might be considered a ‘conspiracy theorist.’

But am I really a conspiracy theorist? I don’t believe so. While I will admit that I do tend to think outside the proverbial box, I am also well aware that many of the conspiracy theories that have been promulgated over the last 50 or so years may likely be fictitious. Regardless, let’s take a more in-depth look at my natal chart.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with astrology and might not be able to read the above chart, I was born August 16, 1955 at 6:32 a.m. in San Diego, California, USA. That gives me a Leo Sun, a Leo Moon and a Leo Ascendant. In fact, I have 6 planets plus my Ascendant in Leo, which is a fire sign. Fire signs can be quite passionate in their undertakings, especially Leos. But does having so many planets in Leo cause one to see things that aren’t there? Not generally. Yes, we can be egotistical and exaggerate or embellish the truth especially to gain the approval of others (we’re really just big pussy cats, and want everyone to like us). Still, being a fire sign does not usually cause one to have an active imagination to the point that they turn into alarmists for no apparent reason.

However, while the Sun rules my chart, I also have 6 planets (including Uranus in Cancer) in the 12th house, which is ruled by the planet Neptune and the Zodiacal sign, Pisces and is a water house. Therefore, my secondary planetary ruler is Neptune, with Pisces as my secondary sign ruler. Neptune rules spirituality, higher consciousness, empathy, dreams and compassion among many things. But Neptune (and Pisces) also tends to obscure, distort or make things fuzzy or hazy. Consequently, it is very possible that someone with so many planets in the 12th house – especially the Moon and/or Neptune – could conceivably misread what they see or hear.

Do I do that? I’m sure I’ve been known to see things no one else could see many times, as have many others who have no planets in the 12th or 8th houses. But three of my ‘saving graces,’ (if they can be called such) in this regard are 1) my Sun and other planets in Leo, which is known for its desire for truth (and no, that’s not contradictory) and its organizational ability; 2) my Mercury (communication and intellect) in Virgo, which is known for its practical, methodical and precise manner, and 3) my Saturn (restriction, structure, discipline) in Scorpio which is square or at a challenging aspect to all my 12th house planets, essentially keeping everything in check or balance. What this means is that I am not only a perfectionist with everything I do (not perfect, mind you, just a stickler for perfection), but I want to make sure that the information I pass along is as truthful, well documented and accurate as possible. This doesn’t always mean that I’ll obtain that goal, but I will do my best.

As for passing on only ‘positive’ information…unfortunately, not everything I feel the Public needs to know is positive, just by its very nature. However, the end result should be.

Are the Actions I am Taking Conducive to a Positive Outcome?

To many, the word ‘positive’ is relative and can and usually does have various meanings. One person’s ‘positive,’ might be another’s ‘negative. However, most of us would agree that if we wish the outcome to be successful, we all must take into consideration whether what we are doing will generate a positive response from a maximum number of individuals.

Granted, there are times when, although we have the best of intentions at heart, the outcome is not or never could be positive. Still, I find it difficult to say nothing when I come across information that could cause not only potential harm if others are not made aware of it, but has demonstrated that it has already done so.

I think Melody and I both knew when we began this blog, that we might draw fire from those who live to debunk conspiracy theories and theorists. Yet, as the masthead states, our reasons for undertaking this project were to make an attempt to separate fact from fiction. You’ll get no argument from me that many of these conspiracy theories are fiction. And more than likely planted fiction. However, what is more chilling (at least to me), is the fact that so many of the most horrific theories might actually be fact. And from the research I’ve conducted over the years, many of the conspiracy theories have taken on substantial, monstrous, factual form.

What I’ve come to learn is that when a so-called ‘conspiracy theory’ proliferates and refuses to go away, there’s usually (at least) some truth to it. Especially in the case of such conspiracy theories which are exposed by whistle blowers who feel that the Public not only has a right to know, but that knowing would save our collective lives, even when blowing the whistle not only puts their own life in danger, but actually causes them to lose their life.

Melodramatic, some might say, but when one’s own life or the lives of their children and grandchildren hang in the balance, melodrama is generally an understated and quite moot point.

I suppose what I wasn’t prepared for (though I should have been) were those individuals who innocently insist that there is absolutely no way that many topics considered conspiracy theories could possibly be true even when the very evidence of such ‘theories’ is staring them in the face. These individuals continue to believe that we live in some utopian society in which our governments suckle and spoon feed us until we’re content, yet all the while keeping a blindfold firmly plastered over our eyes as they hold their booted feet to our necks ensuring that our heads remain buried firmly in the sand. And most of us oblige by keeping our heads firmly planted below ground.

As for being fearful myself: of course I am, when I see that my children and grandchildren may not live to inherit this world which is even yet perched on the precarious brink of oblivion. In all honesty, who wouldn't be?

But should I merely sit back and meditate, ‘imagining’ a better world for my loved ones when action is required to save their lives? What would you do?
* * * * *

Is there any hope for mankind? Is there a light at the end of this darkest of tunnels? Keep following along with us as we continue to explore the jungle of conspiracy theories. You never know…there may just be hope for us yet!

Barack Obama: Messiah, New World Order Henchman or True Force for Positive Change? Obama Conspiracy Theories: Fact or Fiction? Part 3

Part 3 of 3

by

Kat Starwolf

The Big Lie?

A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” ~ Vladimir Lenin
“…And the bigger the lie, the more people will believe it.” ~ Adolf Hitler

Do we believe what we’ve been taught because it is true or because we wish to believe it? How do we know for sure that what we’ve been told is true, really is true? As most of us know, when some truism fits our intellectual paradigm, it is quite easy to believe, even if it is not true (this is the affect of Neptune at work). But does believing something is true, make it true? While it may be our truth, it is not necessarily THE Truth. Yet how does one go about convincing an entire nation or planet of people that a belief system that has been painstakingly force-fed to them over a period of some several hundred to several thousand years is, in fact, a BIG LIE, when the ‘truth’ of that lie has been covertly programmed into and securely hidden within everything they do, think and say?

Still, does the fact that this LIE cannot be easily seen, negate its authenticity?

As an example, although Americans have been taught that the United States is politically divided into Democrats, Republicans, Independents and at least 9 other political parties, does this mean that there are really 12 different political parties? If we look closely, it is evident that there seems to be an additional political party that includes the majority of the above mentioned parties, that most of us have not considered before now, and which the Secret Government seems to have done everything to keep us from learning about : the Illuminists. (see David Icke’s website for more in depth information on the Illuminati and other conspiracy theories, as well as The Illuminati and the New World Order, and Wikipedia).

The Illuminati and the Presidential Bloodlines

For those of you familiar with the Illuminati, you’re undoubtedly no stranger to the belief that all politicians are puppets of the ‘true’ rulers of the world. While this may sound ludicrous and virtually insane to those of you who don’t believe in what you might consider nonsense, there seems to be quite a bit of documented evidence which indicates that there may, indeed, be some truth to these allegations. (See also Alex Jones’s interview with David Icke on the current political state of the world’s countries.)

For instance, one of these allegations is that there truly are no presidential elections as we know them, but that elections are merely held to give the masses a false sense of having some say in who is placed in office; while presidents, in particular, are chosen based on bloodline and groomed from the time they are born to assume the presidency at the appropriate time. (See also Bush Family Tree)

Still, it’s certainly easy enough to make these claims, but is there any proof that might show that these claims do, in fact, have some merit? A good place to begin to determine whether this might be true is the election process.

‘Proof’ that the US Presidential Elections May Be Rigged?

It seems quite interesting that someone has gone to such a great deal of trouble to attempt to indirectly convince us that John Q. Public’s votes are important, while they seem to be simultaneously just as adamant that it’s actually the electoral votes which determine who will be president. So which is it? Who really elects the President of the United States? Is it the People, or is it the Politicians? What is the difference between the ‘popular vote’ and the ‘electoral vote’ when it comes to the presidential election?

History.com states that, “When Americans vote for a President and Vice President, they are actually voting for presidential electors, known collectively as the electoral college. It is these electors, chosen by the people, who elect the chief executive.” So, in other words, while a voter might choose to vote for a specific individual, in effect, he is not casting his vote for his presidential candidate of choice, but for another politician who may or may not vote for his presidential candidate of choice.

Why is the presidential election process so confusing? And why is it just this election and not, say, elections on a municipal/city, county or state level which require this indirect election process? Wouldn’t it be much easier if the American people, themselves, could vote directly for their candidate of choice?

From the back and forth jockeying throughout the history of presidential voting, it seems clear that…well, actually, nothing seems clear! While the politicians can make as many claims as they like regarding how presidents are actually elected and why it’s done this way, the fact that sometimes a candidate is elected based on the popular vote, and sometimes by the electoral vote seems highly suspect. Why not use one method or the other and explain to the People how this method actually works?

Only three times in the history of presidential elections have candidates lost the popular vote, yet won the electoral vote. And since the third occurrence happened in 2000 with the Bush/Gore faceoff, it makes one wonder if there isn’t something fishy going on behind the scenes; since, as many may remember, there was a ‘snafu’ in the ballot counting in Florida, causing a ‘recount’ of the votes and making George W. Bush the ‘clear’ winner.

Not. At least according to the Democratic Party.

Understandably, many Democrats were outraged and perplexed that Gore won the popular vote with 50,999,897 to Bush’s 50,546,002 and still managed to ‘lose’ because Bush won 271 electoral votes to Gore’s 266.

The point? The People wanted Gore, but the Politicians (read: Secret Government) wanted Bush. And the Politicians won. Does that sound as though your votes have much influence when it comes to electing a president?

While it might appear that the Popular (Peoples’) vote is what has historically carried the presidential elections at least 53 out of 55 (56?) times, the fact is, the same candidate with the higher number of Popular votes, also had a higher number of Electoral votes. So it wasn’t necessarily the People’s choice who won, but the Politician’s choice. Convenient?

(The exception to this rule is the 1824 election of John Quincy Adams, a Democrat-Republican. Adams actually lost both the Popular and the Electoral votes to Andrew Jackson, but the House of Representatives chose to give the election to Adams because Jackson “failed to earn a majority of electoral votes.” Yet, according to the official tally, Adams had only 84 Electoral votes to Jackson’s 91. Which means that Jackson should have won. At least based on the twisted logic of the Electoral College. So why didn't he stand as President? Confused?)

As far as Bush, Jr’s 2000 win is concerned, even if it were true that his win was legitimate, what about the ‘convenience’ of his winning the state of Florida, when Gore had clearly won it, and the fact that Bush’s brother Jeb just ‘happened’ to be the Florida governor at the time? Coincidence?

What does seem clear is that in spite of this historically pesky little problem with the paper ballots and the hanging chads and the National Bureau of Standards report which “recommended their elimination” over a decade before the 2000 election, regardless, someone didn't seem to want the balloting system replaced before the next presidential election. In a country that is as technologically advanced as the United States, one would think that as important as presidential elections are, this issue would have been given priority as soon as it was discovered. Why wasn't it?

Granted, I’m not a Political Science major, but the presidential election methodology has got to be the most convoluted, nonsensical mish-mash most of us – politicians included – have ever attempted to comprehend. Unless there is a method to the presidential election process of which the People are purposely not being informed.

If all of this hasn’t yet convinced you that someone is attempting to ‘fix’ the vote and that its direction is coming from a very high level, take a look at this video: Rigged USA Elections.
And for those who doubt the New World Order conspiracy….

Divide and Conquer

Yet, who will actually benefit from this New World Order? The American People? According to a conversation that film maker Aaron Russo had with his long-time friend, Nick Rockefeller, the best interests of the American Public and the World as a whole are not being taken into consideration. In fact, based on more documented proof, any illusion of rights we may have had, have gradually been taken away, to the point that if The Powers That Be have their way, it will soon be mandatory for ALL citizens to have an ID card and an identification chip inserted beneath their skin in order to better control them, which per Rockefeller, is the ultimate goal.

So how does all of this relate to Obama?

The Puppet Masters

Regardless of a person’s character, it is not uncommon for certain others to besmear his name for their own insidious purposes, and/or for still others to manipulate that individual into doing their bidding. Because of this, there are those who put quite a bit of stock in the conspiracy theories regarding presidents being puppets for the Puppet Masters or the true Powers That Be. Consequently, it is believed by many that President Obama couldn’t possibly have the nation’s or the world’s best interests at heart and that he may turn out to be the alleged Anti-Christ. Conversely, there are those who believe that Obama is ‘perfect’ or messiah-like, and that he truly walks on water.

However, what is the truth where Obama is concerned? Because there is so much mis- and disinformation, sometimes it is difficult to know. But if we make a concerted effort to separate the seemingly negative accusations from the possibly positive attributes – again based on his astrological natal chart as well as his actions – we might be better able to discern the truth.

Since we’ve already looked at some of his supposed ‘positive’ attributes, let’s now look at the negative accusations being leveled against him.

Obama Conspiracy Theories and Astrological Transits

It seems that there are always those who do not have our best interests at heart; whether personally, as a nation, globally or beyond. Americans have spent 8 long years under a regime that covertly and sometimes not so covertly took away rights that were supposedly equally available to all, especially since 9/11 (see also 1, 2, 3). In reality, these rights may have gradually been taken from us – both here in the United States, as well as around the world – since this country’s inception.

While many of those who have been labeled ‘conspiracy theorists’ have been ridiculed for their seemingly impossible declarations regarding various issues, especially involving governments and politicians, unfortunately, many of these so-called ‘conspiracy theories’ have proved to be accurate, though this was not determined until well after the fact and it was too late. So it’s not surprising that our imagination and our fears are working overtime. We’re all just a tetch jumpy where politicians’ promises are concerned, and many feel that they’ve lied to us, cheated us and raped us.

For the most part, we can all guess the mindset of the latest batch of conspiracy theories and from where they are originating. From the allegation that Obama was not born in the United States, and therefore is not eligible to legally run for or serve as President, to the question of his sexual orientation, to his true political affiliations, it seems that Obama is being vilified before he really has a chance to make his first mistake. But the probability is (based on the astrological transits), like many other conspiracy theories, there is little foundation to the majority of those conspiracy theories making the rounds thus far.

But what is fueling these accusations, besides prejudice and the fear of change?

Astrologically, there are a few aspects that might create the kind of atmosphere that would cause people to blow things way out of proportion. When transiting Chiron (wisdom) is conjunct or in the same sign as Neptune (spirituality, inspiration), idealism and spiritual development are foremost on everyone’s minds. When these planets are in Aquarius, the sign of idealism and community (as they have been since December of 2005), this effect is even stronger. We all want that change that President Obama has talked about. And we want it to be for the good of…well, not everyone may see a win/win situation in this scenario. All they know is that they want change, and if Obama isn’t exactly the one they had in mind to assist in effecting that change, they feel threatened.

The problem, however, is that Neptune also has a tendency to cloud our vision, confusing issues and making it difficult to tell if we’re truly following the right path. And depending on the aspects of these two planets to other planets/signs, additional issues and traits can be activated. For instance, when Chiron is quincunx (a frictive aspect) to Saturn (structure), the feeling is to ‘fight’ for the good of all, to be an activist for a just cause. This is fine, as long as we are seeing clearly what that cause is, and whether it is worth fighting for. Although everyone’s natal charts are aspected differently by transiting Chiron (or any transiting planet), the general affect is as stated above.

Another effect of Chiron (woundedness) conjunct Neptune (illusion) negatively aspecting our natal Mars (aggression, anger) is that we may feel like the victim (Chiron), become foolhardy and mislead ourselves into believing the rightness of our stance (Neptune), and might also act as though there’s a chip on our shoulder and become angry (Mars) if things don’t work out as we wish them to.

With these two planets quincunx Saturn (restriction, fear) – and especially if they are negatively aspecting either or both our natal Mars or Pluto, we may also tend to see shadows where there are none. Which is why for the sake of everyone, we should closely evaluate our reactions during a Neptune transit.

Another aspect that can be difficult is transiting Pluto (transformation) in Capricorn (work, discipline, structure) in the 3rd house. Normally this wouldn’t necessarily be the case. But because there is a contradiction between what the nation as a whole, wants (in depth transparency, accountability), and what the astrological transit seems predisposed to (secrecy), there will be some conflict. (Note that the interpretation of this transit is not referring to Obama’s chart or his own predisposition, but to the astrological transit chart for this particular day ((March 7, 2009)). As for transiting Pluto in aspect to President Obama’s chart, his 11th house of friends and community is being aspected. This causes him to be overly concerned with how he appears to others, which in turn may cause him to overreact.)

With transiting Pluto square or at a turbulent aspect to transiting retrograde Venus (love, money, values), this aspect creates a pressure cooker just waiting to blow…especially because of the economy (Venus). Everyone is on edge. Our relationships and finances are being affected and we’re even looking at our value systems. And with Venus retrograding until April 17th, many of us are likely to keep quite a bit inside until then, just letting it stew until we explode.

Because of this, it is very likely that with Saturn (structure, discipline, fear) in Virgo (conscientiousness, analytical ability, practicality) in opposition to Uranus (change, rebellion), there will be a clash that leads to a rebellion of both those who fear (Saturn) and those who want change (Uranus).

However, these effects may be offset just a bit beginning on March 10th, when the Full Moon moves into Virgo, one of the Healing signs. Because of the nature of Virgo, it may balance out this turbulent mix of feelings to an extent. Although with the Moon in Virgo we’re often nervous, conversely, we also tend to have a bit more common sense. And because two of Virgo’s attributes are service to others and perfectionism, combined with the idealistic nature of Aquarius, the drive of Mars and the expansive nature of Jupiter, many of us will begin to take a good hard look at what’s going on in our lives as well as in the world (if we haven’t done so already) and realize that it is up to us to make the effort to heal, instead of relying on others to do it for us.

And because the Full Moon also happens to be conjunct and within 3 degrees of the Saturn/Uranus opposition, when we reach this point we will see that to make the change we all want, it will be necessary to transcend our lower Saturnian natures and open to our upper Uranian/Pisces natures to extend that compassion that we all so desperately need to show others and to feel ourselves. In other words, it’s going to take some work.

Finally, the 9th house placement of the Full Moon in Virgo in aspect to the USA’s natal chart indicates that we, as a Nation, will be successful in our quest for Truth as long as we are persistent. In fact, wouldn’t it be better for all of us if we took the best of both perspectives – the old (Saturn) and the new (Uranus) and blended them to come up with a viable, working solution for the entire planet?

Therefore – again, based on the transits – the majority of the conspiracy theories that have shot up around Obama since his emergence on the political scene are due mainly to fear of change and the unknown and our own overactive imaginations.

But does that mean that Obama is completely innocent or that he’s the Messiah? Or is it possible that – with the help of New World Order advocates such as Zbigniew Brzezinski, Obama is, indeed, much more than he appears?

Free Will

According to his natal chart and the transits, it seems that it’s all looking good for Obama, so far. But because of his affiliation with known Illuminists, can we be sure that he isn’t up to the same old tricks of past politicians and isn’t merely another in the long line of Illuminati puppets? Or is it possible that he might fall somewhere between the allegedly predicted Anti-Christ/Messiah and a legitimate humanitarian?

Humans that we are, most of us wish to be loved and accepted by others. So, regardless of our astrological natal chart, we all have the choice of free will: of doing whatever it is we feel is best for us, and in the case of leaders, others as well. Which isn’t always a bad thing. After all, if we don’t take care of ourselves, who will? And if we are unable to care for ourselves, how can we care for our children?

Still, while we may be astrologically inclined to think or feel a certain way, most of us can generally be persuaded to follow along with another’s agenda if we feel that it will be in our best interests to do so. Is it possible that this is what Obama is doing? Is he playing ‘follow the leader’ with the NWO agenda, while covertly gathering his own forces to effect the positive change that he knows we all need and deserve?

Though speaking specifically in reference to Global Climate Change, President Obama recently stated, “We need more than the same old empty promises. We need to show that this time it will be different.” This statement is indicative of two things, in particular: 1) that Barak Obama does appear to stand for positive change and 2) that the effects of so many planets in the astrological sign of Aquarius – which represents change on a global or mass scale – is real and quite active. But will Obama make good on his promises? Again, only time will tell.

The Age of Change

In my opinion, since we, too, have free will, whether Obama is our Savior, the Anti-Christ or something in between, is really a moot point. Ultimately, it is up to each and every one of us to take responsibility for our own actions and make the changes that are so desperately necessary. As Gandhi said: Be the change you wish to see in the world.

The fact is, we are now entering an unprecedented time of change, in which we all have the opportunity and the ability to make the changes that are so very necessary if our society and our planet is going to remain not only a viable entity for some time to come, but prosperous, as well.

There are four things we would all do well to keep in mind:

1. Not everything is at it appears. For instance, in spite of the probability that TPTB attempt to convince the masses through various means that astrology is a pseudoscience, they themselves use very skilled astrologers to determine the best times for various activities such as political elections or wars, as well as the best person to place in any given political office on a global scale and has even been used in the architecture and street design of Washington, DC. Therefore, they wouldn’t find it difficult to choose a political ‘candidate’ based on his or her astrological chart, or even construct the “perfect” astrological chart. (See also 1 & 2)

2. We must learn to rely on ourselves for ‘salvation.’

3. We all have Free Will. Regardless of the planetary positions and aspects of our natal charts, we are the ones, ultimately, who choose our paths in life.

4. This is the Age of Change. With so many planets and a point in Aquarius, the sign of change: the North Node of the Moon, Jupiter, Chiron, Neptune, Mars, and as of this writing (March 8, 2009), Mercury – we all have the ability to make positive changes, not only on a personal scale, but on a planetary scale.

Regardless of what one wishes to believe about Barak Obama, remember Thomas Jefferson’s famous and quite apropos statement regarding the relationship between the People and the government:

When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.”

Whether or not President Obama is merely a puppet, WE, THE PEOPLE do not have to continue to be the sheeple who choose to blindly follow along without questioning the direction of our respective countries' leaders. We do have the option of taking action and choosing to make a difference. This requires proaction on the part of each and every one of us, and there isn’t a moment to lose. Do not underestimate your voice and your influence during this time of change. Barak Obama may or may not be our only hope for facilitating this change. Yet, regardless of which side he is truly on, “We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

Barack Obama: Messiah, New World Order Henchman or True Force for Positive Change?

Part 2 of 3

by Kat Starwolf

Barak Obama & Reincarnation

Over the past one hundred years or so, reincarnation has gradually regained its place as a rival concept to that put forth by the Council of Nicea in 325 AD regarding humanity’s continued existence after death. Although not everyone believes in reincarnation, if you believe that Jesus existed, you might be interested to know that the Church painted itself into a corner by forgetting that if Jesus originally studied with the Essenes, he must surely have believed in reincarnation (and based on his quotes in numerous Biblical scriptures, he did), since the Essenes believed in and taught reincarnation themselves.

It is also believed that at least three Hebrew prophets: Samuel, Daniel and Isaiah, studied or were actually astrologers. Samuel, in particular, located the shepherd boy who would later become the 2nd king of Israel, by the recognition of the ‘Star of David,’ (an astrological geometric planetary configuration known as a Double Grand Trine) in the heavens. Further, the Jewish Kabbalah basically teaches that man’s existence is based on Sacred Geometry and utilizes astrology to delineate our relationship with the Cosmos.

Additionally, based on extensive astrological research conducted by numerous astrologers over the past several hundred years, there seems to be some precedent for past lives found in the astrological natal chart. In astrology, a point of reference known as the South Node of the Moon is indicative of a person’s past life abilities, skills and/or karma that follows us into our current incarnation, as well as one’s present early life abilities, skills and talents brought forward in the current incarnation to adulthood.

Aside from the probability that Barak Obama has quite an esoteric belief system, himself, it appears likely – based on his astrological natal chart and on his upbringing – that he, also, believes in reincarnation.

The Reincarnation of Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten?

The scuttle traveling around the Internet at present states that Barak Obama is the incarnation of various historical figures. Religious spokesman, Texe Marrs says that Barak Obama is the reincarnation of the Sun God, Osiris, while others believe him to be the reincarnation of Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaton. Still others state that he is the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln.

The claim to the Akhenaten incarnation was seemingly put forth by one Brianstalin and picked up by numerous sources. Brianstalin, supposedly the world’s ‘foremost expert’ on reincarnation, claims that there is evidence that indicates that Obama is, indeed, the reincarnation of Pharaoh Akhenaten while simultaneously claiming that the Akashic Records say that he isn’t.

Come again?

Still, he doesn’t say exactly what this evidence is, other than that he has located this information in the Akashic Records.

Although the comparison to Akhenaten (as well as to Hitler) is definitely a bit disconcerting, we need to keep in mind that each of us may have had unflattering, not to mention horrendous, past lives. The whole point of repetitive incarnations is to learn from each successive life in order to reach Enlightenment.

Pharaoh Akhenaten, who was originally named Amenotep IV and reigned from 1352 to 1356 BC, was also known as the heretic pharaoh since he chose not to continue the practice of worshipping multiple gods as his father, grandfather and ancestors had done before him. Instead he chose to institute the practice of monotheism, or the worship of only one god: Aten, the Sun God or Solar Disc diety.

When comparing Obama’s likeness to that of Akhenaten in this YouTube video – Brianstalin implies that the resemblance is evidence that Obama is the reincarnation of this Egyptian pharaoh. But is he?

Although there does seem to be a likeness of sorts, there is not enough evidence, in my opinion, to prove anything. Neither does Brianstalin show how his assertions are being corroborated or verified. Nor does anyone else, as far as I’ve been able to determine, make the claim that they have uncovered evidence that Obama is the reincarnation of Akhenaten. From what I can gather, there is no firm evidence, corroboration or verification other than Brianstalin’s writings, alone, which seem to be the basis for this claim that Obama is the reincarnation of not only Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten, but Pope Leo XIII as well. And even then, he doesn’t show us how he came to these conclusions.

While anything is certainly possible, how would one know for sure that what they were ‘viewing’ in the Akashic Records was accurate? For that matter, how does one know for sure that they are, indeed, viewing the Akashic Records, and not just falling prey to their own overactive imagination?

Throughout the span of the last forty-some odd years in which I have read and researched numerous topics, including reincarnation, I’ve read such authors as Drs. Brian Weiss, Raymond Moody, Bruce Goldberg, and Ian Stevenson, medical intuitive Edgar Cayce, medium Ruth Montgomery, and counselor and past life regression therapist Carol Bowman who writes on children’s past lives. Yet, this is the first I’ve heard of Brianstalin, and I had to do a Google search on “Obama” and “reincarnation” to find him.

While I’m more convinced of the concept of reincarnation than any other explanation pertaining to our ultimate origin and continued existence, I’m not as convinced of the accuracy of various claims to being able to view the Akashic Records. Or rather, I’m not totally convinced that just because someone says that the information they have managed to ‘access,’ is accurate, that it is. Like channeling, this form of ‘information gathering’ leaves itself wide open for interpretation and is difficult to validate. That is, if it’s not outright fraudulent.

Not to say that Brianstalin’s claims are fraudulent; only that there seems to be little in the way of concrete proof to validate his claims. (For more information on Brianstalin, see his MySpace profile page.)

No? How About the Reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln?

Several astrologers initially noticed the similarities between the astrological natal charts of Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln, such as Joan P., of the Karmic Astrology blogsite. Joan does an excellent job of interpreting and comparing Lincoln’s chart to Obama’s, although at the time this piece was written in May of 2008, Obama’s correct birth time was not known.

Another astrologer, VerDarLuz, a contributing writer for the site Reality Sandwich, says it quite succinctly in this article late last year:

Besides the similarities of their personal geographies (impoverished upbringing, Illonois), Obama’s South Node, which represents our karmic traces, is on Lincoln’s Sun. And the reverse is true: Obama’s Sun is on Lincoln’s South Node. This powerful reversal may suggest a major spiritual theme that has been circulating between these two souls, trying to be implemented in this country for some time. It very clearly could point to reincarnant energy of the same soul.

Couple this with Lincoln’s Chiron/Sun/Neptune on Obama’s Ascendant, and one
can feel how Obama channels Lincoln’s major life purpose (Sun) to implement the vision (Neptune) of healing (Chiron) the ‘Union.’

Then following up with his own astrological opinion on the comparison of the two charts in January, 2009, astrologer Dr. Z, The Zodiac Master, offers his opinion on the probability that Obama could very well be the reincarnation of Lincoln.

Well, the evidence seems to be looking good for clinching the case that Obama could be the reincarnation of Lincoln. Still, similarities such as this are not quite enough to prove conclusively that one person is the absolute reincarnation of another. All it proves is that their birth charts are similar or that they dovetail in some manner, which isn’t always as meaningful as we might wish to believe.

And then there’s Newsweek Magazine’s recent article, Obama’s Lincoln, which seems to lend some credence to the belief that Obama is the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln, though this is only implied, as well as Obama’s own references to Lincoln in an article he wrote for Time Magazine in 2006, entitled My Spiritual Journey.

The point is, there really is no solid evidence which proves that Barak Obama is the reincarnation of anyone specific. However, there is a way to determine if he has similar traits or even similar purposes to these two great leaders as other astrologers have shown.

Possible Astrological Proof of Obama’s Past Life Traits

Having said that, however, based on his astrological natal chart, Barak Obama is also bringing quite a bit of that visionary knowledge and wisdom in with him from one or more past lives. Whether or not he will use it during this administration is another issue.

According to astrologer, Martin Schulman in The Moon’s Nodes and Reincarnation, in regard to the North Node of the Moon in Leo (as Obama’s is), “…he has a great ability to do something for the human race, for he is capable of depersonalizing his actions for the good of all mankind.”

Schulman also goes on to say that, “The Aquarius South Node [of the Moon] brings with it past life roots strongly embedded in the principles of fairness and equality.” And “This individual is capable of making revolutionary changes in what was once established tradition…he believes in firm justice, and yet he is quick to pardon once people have admitted that they are wrong. He is never one to strike when a person is down. The sense of fair play has become such a part of his soul, that although he feels he should be more competitive, it makes him uncomfortable to be part of any competition which involves foul play.” It is also “…his present life karma to apply his Uranian ingenuity [Uranus rules Aquarius, his Rising Sign] through practical and traditional Leonine outlets [such as leadership and creativity].”

In reference to the house position of the North Node of the Moon, Schulman says, “The house position [in this case, the 7th house of partnership] of the North Node shows the area through which all the chart energy can be focused –” that is, through partnerships with others, including our nation and other nations “into a new shining creation of substantial size and worth, a gift of generosity to the world. Truly these are the Nodes of the ‘Inventor.’”

Also in the 7th house of partnership are Mars conjunct or in the same sign (Virgo) as Pluto. Mars is representative of action, while Pluto symbolizes transformation and power. With these two planets in the down-to-earth and practical sign of Virgo, the need to work hard and the inability to be inactive for long, are prominent features. He is extremely analytical, a perfectionist, and quite organized when it comes to the detail work. With Mars in the 7th house, he places a great deal of importance on relationships, both in marriage and in business. Since the presidency of the United States of America is definitely a business, his relationships with those with whom he works within the White House, American citizens, as well as partnerships with leaders of other countries are tremendously important to him.

The downside to this placement is that he may be so concerned with the opinions of others (especially as they pertain to himself and his need for the approval of others) that there may be a tendency to overlook the rectification of personal issues which require his attention. Additionally, because he is a Leo, there may also be the danger of allowing his ego to get in the way of his better judgement at times.

Footsteps

In regard to specific past lives, since these cannot be determined from a perusal of the astrological chart, Obama being the reincarnation of Akhenaten, Lincoln or anyone else, in my opinion, is highly conjectural. In fact, it is more likely that Obama merely admires the former president so much that he strives to emulate him.

Then, of course, there’s always the possibility that all of these claims are merely purposely engineered attempts to manipulate the public into accepting him as the next Messiah, showing how similar he is to both of these leaders and how he must have returned to finish what he began at least twice before.

The final implication, however – again based on his natal chart – is that he reincarnated to ‘get it right’ this time. But will he follow through with his Soul’s intentions for this incarnation? Only time and Barak Obama will tell.

Still, his natal chart seems to say one thing, while some of his actions seem to say something entirely different. Or do they? What’s up with that? Could it be that while Barack Obama might seem to be following in the footsteps of his presidential predecessors, that he does, in fact, have an agenda of his own?

Obama and Old fashioned Change:
A Saturn / Uranus Story

by Melody Scott Zindell

After President Obama’s speech last night I was inspired to look at another aspect of his chart that will add a dimension to how potentially entrenched in “the system” he is.

Humankind’s evolutionary journey is in part reflected by the current Saturn / Uranus opposition, which is with us through July 2010. Saturn is the status quo and Uranus is radical change. This is another turn around the spiral of learning how to integrate new paradigms within the social structure and traditions of the past, with an increased awareness of self responsibility and “growing up” a little, as the bigger 250 year cycle of Pluto in Capricorn, which began this year, breaks down an older part of the system that is no longer working.

As an archetype, Obama reflects these ideas with his natal Saturn in Capricorn retrograde in the 12th house inconjunct Uranus and the North node in Leo in the 7th house. This almost exact natal Saturn / Uranus signature is closely aspected by the current transit. Later this year with the September 15th pass, the Saturn / Uranus opposition at 24 degrees and only 1 degree from Obama’s natal aspect.

We have no idea what Obama’s inner processing is because he is a politician and seems to play the politician game very well. That said, we do know that one dynamic which this signature reflects would be a deep and focused need to reflect upon the conditionings (that we all have to one degree or another) relative to one’s ideas about the role and structure of government and systems. I agree with Jeffrey Wolf Green who said once that all politicians are in a consensus reality, primarily defined as a person who is identified as an extension of societal norms, beliefs and customs. Probably at least 75% of the world’s population falls in this group. This is in contrast to those who have moved into an individuated state, characterized by those who question the beliefs and customs and who seek to discover their own individuality as distinct from society. Someone who advocates change with a Uranian vibration, as Obama has, can still do so from within the consensus framework, which we can observe him doing. For example, he essentially wants to continue the same system of lending, credit, education, health and so on, but to upgrade these systems to a better way of working. Saturn wants to keep the old structure and Uranus wants to bring in something new. In Obama’s chart we have an inconjunct between these two planetary energies which indicates a sense of tension on a crisis level, something that must be resolved for him, underscored by the idea that the planet of new and radically different is conjunct Obama’s North Node in Leo.

This tension is seen by others in an iconoclastic way that is primarily focused on the past (Saturn in Capricorn in the 12th) as he has been regularly compared to Presidents Lincoln and Roosevelt, as well as wanting his speech last night to take on the positive reform feelings that came with administrations such as Roosevelt’s. There is the potential with this signature to be on the edge of society, but one does not get the backing of the old guard for presidency in that mode. So, although there are hints that Obama has a revolutionary streak, such as with his close association with the radical Reverend Jeremiah Wright until it compromised his political career track, he probably must remain ambivalent with his inner processes. The result is a “go with the flow” mentality and conforming to peer pressure, another function of Uranus on a conservative end. The peer pressure that Obama is conforming to is the very old guard and status quo political structure, and the “change” is fixing the problems in the same way they were created, which even if this strategy works is certainly not a radical or outside the box solution.

The impetus to eventually break his conditioning is strong, and could range from breaking out of the pack into a greater sense of individuality but still within “his group” to potentially stepping completely outside the current system with a radically different orientation. This would be show up very differently than what we are seeing with actions that seem well defined by the past.

Barak Obama: Messiah, New World Order Henchman or True Force for Positive Change?

by Kat Starwolf

Part 1 of 3

Change We Can Believe In?

Disclaimer: I am neither pro- nor anti- Obama. My purpose in reporting the following is to attempt to shed some astrological light on our new president’s character. Therefore, I am reporting only what I see in his astrological chart. HOWEVER, this interpretation is based on the birth information (date, time, location) provided on Barack Obama’s birth certificate. Therefore, the interpretation is only as accurate as the recorded or reported birth data.

Who is Barak Obama? Is he really the altruistic humanitarian, sage leader and loving family man we see portrayed in the media? The way he came out of nowhere, bursting onto the world scene certainly seems suspect. With almost no funds to help sustain the most arguably successful presidential campaign in the history of this country, it’s difficult not to look with some suspicion at this heretofore virtually unknown politician; even for those who voted for him. Yet, who is this man who promised the change our country so desperately needs? Will he make good on those promises, or will he drag us through another eight years of hell?

Is there a way to determine his true character? Is he the Messiah? The Anti-Christ? The reincarnation of an Egyptian pharaoh? A puppet of the Illuminati? Human and fallible like the rest of us? Or something else entirely?

Astrology may provide us with the answer….

Although astrology is considered a pseudoscience by many, the fact is, to many others astrology has demonstrated that it is quite an accurate discipline. This is not a reference to Sun Sign astrology which utilizes only the Sun when evaluating someone’s personality traits. But real astrology that utilizes all the planets in the solar system, including the Sun, the Moon and a few asteroids and a comet in determining either the outcome of events or the actual, seemingly ‘hidden’ personality traits of any given individual.

Yet, is it possible for an astrologer to truly know the character of an individual without ever having met that person just by looking at his or her astrological natal chart? While it is true that astrology – and by extension, astrologers – cannot, for the most part, always know our deep inner thoughts and feelings, it is possible, nonetheless, to deduce a person’s probable intentions based on the positions of his or her natal planets, specifically in relation to current astrological transits and trends. Whether or not the individual follows through on his or her tendencies, of course, is governed by various factors, including free will. Regardless, the compulsion for any of us to act in a given manner based on the placements of the planets in our natal chart is generally quite strong; in spite of how diligently others might wish to persuade us to follow through with their agenda.

So what does Barak Obama’s birth chart have to say about him?

Barak Obama’s Astrological Natal Chart

According to AstroDatabank, 7:24 p.m. – the time listed on his birth certificate (which finally surfaced after the question of whether or not he was truly a United States citizen) – was utilized. Unless we’ve been misled regarding his birth information, this seems to lend some validity to the character he displays in public. Shown below are the locations of the various planets in his birth chart for those of you who are astrologically inclined (note that the house system is Geocentric Tropical Placidus, which places his Mars ((action, passion, aggression)) in the 7th house of partnerships and enemies):

Although President Obama, like the rest of us, no doubt has his moments (after all, he is a Leo), the question is: is he capable of leading this country and following through on his promises of positive change? Possessing the mechanical know-how to accomplish a task is one thing; but doing so because one’s heart compels them to such actions, is an entirely different matter.

One thing in his favor in regard to the presidency, is the fact that he is a Leo. Leos are known for their strong leadership ability. If other strategic planets are in favorable positions, sign-wise and in aspect to each other, the native can be a formidable force. With his Sun in the 6th house, his sense of duty tends to be strong, though he may have a difficult time doing the same old thing day in and day out. Lucky for him that he’s in a job where nothing is routine! There will be lots of diversity to fill his time, on which he will thrive. All in all, his desire is to focus his leadership abilities on the health of the nation in such a way so that he may serve others, since this is specifically what his Soul incarnated to do.

The Moon in Gemini indicates a need to rationalize one’s own emotions, as well as those of others, and is a prevalent characteristic. He may seem almost emotionless because of this placement, but his Sun (core identity) in a fire sign and Venus (love, values) in a water sign, may mitigate the stoic tendency to a great extent. In other words, the stoicism, while real on the surface, is merely a protective façade that hides a much deeper loving and caring personality (Cancer and Leo), which he may feel more comfortable expressing in the presence of his family members rather than in public. With this placement in the 4th house of home, family and emotions, his interactions with his family – especially his children – will be loving and yet rational. He’s more likely to be the kind of parent that uses reason as a form of disciplinary control than force. His Venus (love) in Cancer (home, family) in the 5th house of children, also lends weight to this trait.

In relation to how this translates to his abilities as president and how he sees and will interact with the citizens of his country, he will have much the same demeanor. Granted, there are variables involved that may require a slightly different tact when dealing with certain issues. Yet, for the most part, he is a genuinely loving individual. He loves his country and its people so much, that he is willing to do everything he possibly can to protect it and them. While this may not manifest in a literal sense (as in initiating or fighting in a war), it is very likely to be expressed in subtle undertones through other means; for instance, ‘fighting’ for equality, better economic conditions, better health care, peace, etc.

The placement of both his Neptune in Scorpio on the cusp of the 9th house (also influenced by 8th house energy, which includes power/transformation, joint finances and secrecy) and his Jupiter in Aquarius in the 12th, are indications that he is definitely interested in what would be considered by some to be ‘unorthodox’ subjects. Therefore, the probability is that if he’s allowed to follow his own lead, he will have a very strong desire to get to the truth of the extraterrestrial/UFO phenomenon, putting an end to governmental secrecy/cover-up in this area.

Further, his Moon in the 4th house at a positive aspect to his retrograde Jupiter in the 12th house in addition to his grand trine of planets in water signs, causes him to have a proliferation of empathic, psychic and intuitive abilities which makes him a Healer of the highest magnitude.

Likewise, retrograde Chiron is indicative of the probability that he was a Healer in a past life; and with numerous aspects to other planets, this indication is amplified considerably. Chiron represents wisdom, woundedness and wounded relationships, among many things. With retrograde Chiron in Pisces (spirituality, empathy, healing) in the 1st house, the indication is that he will manifest the essence of the Chiron attributes which will be evident in the way he interacts with others. According to visionary astrologer, Barbara Hand Clow in Chiron, Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner and Outer Planets in regard to Chiron in Pisces, “If their energy manifests successfully in the culture, this being is charismatic, unforgettable, and a true leader of consciousness unfoldment.” [bolded italics mine] Again, with his retrograde Chiron at a positive aspect to his Moon in the 4th house (home and family) and his Neptune in the 9th house (ideals, higher education, religion, philosophy, mental journeys), the implication is that it will be easy for him to bring these characteristics and traits into being for himself, as well as for the country.

Chiron in Pisces is representative of someone who wants to help others. The adverse affects of this placement for Chiron, is that he may focus on helping others to the exclusion of all else, at times. This, in turn, could play a significant role in health issues if preventative measures are not taken. However, Pisces also rules healing and compassion, so these people – once they realize their abilities in this area – can be absolutely phenomenally successful. And with his nearly exact retrograde Chiron in Pisces opposition his Pluto in Virgo, the positive transformation of his character will be evident, especially to those who know him well.

Jupiter in Aquarius in addition to his Aquarius Ascendant causes him to be an extremely powerful humanitarian, which he feels compelled to express through helping others. His compulsion to see that justice is served is nearly overwhelming. He not only senses how people feel, what they want and what they need, he knows it. Moreover, he’s bound and determined to see that the changes that need to be made, are made for the good of all (an Aquarian trait).

Aquarius is the sign of the Visionary. These people are brilliant. In fact, they’re often geniuses, quite unconventional, and far head of most of the rest of us. Adding his Visionary qualities to his empathic, psychic and intuitive qualities, as well as his love for his home and family (which to him, includes his country and the world, as well as its citizens) it seems that this man has an exorbitant amount of love to share with the world. He doesn’t like to see people suffer. He really wants to make the changes that he’s talked about.

However, while these are definitely positive qualities, he is by no means perfect, which is demonstrated by other planetary placements which may very well offset the above characteristics to an extent.

Restrictions

Each of us has Saturn placed somewhere in our natal chart. Saturn represents many things, both positive and negative, including structure, discipline, work, restriction, oppression and fear. And depending on what sign Saturn is in, it can either be helpful or excruciatingly painful and destructive, if we don’t monitor the direction of its output. How it affects us individually is also dependent on its aspects to other planets. When Saturn is retrograde, those traits tend to be even more pronounced and, conversely, also often cause feelings of inadequacy and extreme self-deprecation. Yet, no matter how good a person may appear to be, there may be other aspects of his or her character that are not always evident, and which are not always as positive. Often, the placement and sign in which Saturn resides, can provide a clue as to how an individual might be affected by Saturn’s energy.

Positive Saturnine Traits

Barak Obama’s Saturn is retrograde and in Capricorn, the sign ruler for Saturn. While it might seem that with retrograde Saturn in its ruling sign the trait of extreme rigidity and the tendency to be unyielding is a detriment. Yet, what actually happens is that the native is better able to focus on the purpose for which he’s aiming, allowing him to block out any outside distractions. This ability allows him to be single-minded in his quest towards accomplishing his goals and in being diligent in ascertaining their practicality and functionality, by back engineering those goals, so to speak. In other words, a person with this placement often envisions the end of the journey or the ultimate destination first, and then determines the best course of action to reach those goals. With Saturn in the 12th house, he tends to identify with the downtrodden or those who suffer or who are lacking in some way. That is, he is a champion for the underdog.

Challenging Saturnine Traits

We all wish to be liked. But with several planets (especially the Sun) in Leo and retrograde Saturn in Capricorn, this desire is magnified exponentially. Because of these placements the tendency is to do anything possible to create a positive impression on others – even if that impression might be contrary to reality. While this might not seem to be a bad thing when it comes to dealing with the nation as a whole, it could be a problem where wanting to be thought well of by peers or higher ups is concerned. Although Barak Obama is not a ‘yes-man,’ there is the possibility that he could very easily forego what he knows is best for the nation in order to placate The Powers That Be. Because of the push and pull of various political factions, this tendency may cause him to feel at odds with himself and with those he is entrusted to serve should he be approached by those whose intentions are underhanded or nefarious.

Messiah, Too Good to Be True or…?

In spite of the challenging planetary placements, this man seems to possess some wonderful traits. However, is he really the Messiah so many believe him to be? Is he too good to be true, or…something else? Again, as long as we have the correct birth information, the planetary placements in his natal chart should be enough to prove that Barak Obama is who he says he is and is more than capable of following through on his promises. Yet there may be one more ‘proof’ that might help us to determine his sincerity. Once more, looking to President Obama’s astrological natal chart – and especially to the ancient past – we find one placement, in particular, which may be indicative of a past life as a ruler returned to make good on the mistakes he made at that time and is now attempting to rectify.
